Okay.. it's been a while since I've posted.. oops...

JB is doing well. We LOVE the heart doppler, it's our little connection to baby..

Only 5 more days until we find out bub's sex, and give JB a *real* name.

This is me at 18w1d. Getting sooo big!! :D

Blood pressure is good, which is a relief. I'm hoping I don't develop GD or PE. Apart from the MS and the couple of scares (and the possible IC thing), it's been a pretty good pregnancy... so far.. ;)

We got a doppler delivered yesterday. Hired it from Firstbeats for the next few months.

It's SO easy to use! We heard our bubbas heartbeat!!

It was soooo cool!!

Well, the ultrasound went well. :D

Cervical measurement has not changed. So I'm still sitting at 23mm. If it's the same length at 19w, I think I have a pretty good chance of the rest of my pregnancy being fairly good :D

We had a little check up of bub while we were there. Active as ever. Arms waving about. Moving when the sonographer wanted to take a photo.. LOL..

3 weeks until the 19w morphology scan, and then a few more weeks until we see the birthing centre obs. :D

Well the midwife appointment this morning went well. So I'm all 'booked in' for the birth centre(pending cervical tests over the next few weeks).

Jacobeanie decided to play silly buggers while the lovely midwife was trying to find his/her heartbeat with the doppler. Just to the point of my getting really worried that there wouldn't be one to find, JB came out of hiding ALL the way over on my left side. I approximated the heartbeat at 156bpm.

I have an info pack for all the different things I need to be thinking about from here on in, from pregnancy nutrition to PND and breastfeeding.

We are also booked into the hypnobirthing classes in Annandale starting July. I have left a message at the RPA Parents & Childrens Education Centre for other ante-natal classes.

Our next appointment is Monday, where I am having the cervical length checked.
