13w4d

Almost out of the first trimester... :D
My first day back at work yesterday, wasn't too hard, until 2pm hit. I managed to stay until 3pm, though, which I thought was pretty good.
I'm very thankful that they're allowing me to 'ease' my way back in to full days. Not being able to grab a kip when the eyelids feel heavy is a bit trying.. hehe.
Well, my belly is getting both smaller and larger at the same time. The flub is reducing (7.3kg so far), and the bub is increasing :D

13w
I've just re-read the 'updated' report that includes my cervical measurements from the TV ultrasound.
It's only 23mm. From what I can find on the web, it should be at least 30mm. It's been suggested that I have it checked in 2/3w and again at the 19w u/s.
So now I have to check with the midwife at the birthing centre about the following:-
- Making sure I can get a referral & appt for the same day as our booking in appt
- Checking that if I do get a cerclage (the stitch thing), that I'm still able to give birth in the birthing centre
And here I was thinking the majority of my stress was over. Ugh.
**LATER**
Well, I won't be able to give birth at the birthing centre if a cerclage is needed, nor can I get an appt for an ultrasound for the same day.. :S
AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!
I'm hoping the measurement was wrong...

12w1d - now 12w3d
The scan went wonderfully. Our date was adjusted to 12w3d, which isn't a lot, but it's enough :D
The NT measurement was 1.7mm, which when included with my blood test results, age and weight means that our chances for the following chromasomal abnormalities are:-
Trisomy 21 (Downs) - 1:11,400
Trisomy 13/18 - 1:20,500
Both are GREAT odds.
Heart rate was 167bpm, and CRL was 6.1cm.
Bub was very active, yet very co-operative for measuring and getting pictures. It was nice to see bub swimming and jumping around being cheeky.

11w
Well, baby has decided that I don't need sleep.
The last, almost week, has been late nights and early mornings. Thankfully occassionally I can get a couple of hours in during the day.
But after Daylight Savings finished, I get woken up at 4:30am this morning. Also the cold has HIT suddenly, no easing into winter weather.. it's just icy.
I also have expanded my maternity wardrobe, I'll post pics later.
But 11w!! YAY! I have a blood test this week, and the nuchal translucency ultrasound next week.
I have lost a total of 5.1 kgs, but I have gone up a cup size in the bra, and my belly has grown 2cm since 9w.
